AWGF Superannuation: The Past, Present and Future Conference

The Australian Working Group in Financialisation (AWGF), a finance research group at the University of Sydney, is holding a conference on superannuation, with the theme Superannuation: Past, Present and Future. The aim of the conference is to bring together people involved in the design of the superannuation system with industry participants, people concerned with the recent reviews of superannuation, and individuals working and engaged in related areas. We want to build discussion and debate about the original goals of superannuation, look at whether the system is living up to those goals, and consider what the future of superannuation should look like.
