Qualifications: B Social Sciences (Macq); LLB (present UTS)

Hanna started at the WRC in May 2009. Prior to working at the WRC, Hanna worked in the union movement and in a commercial law firm as a paralegal. In 2005 Hanna graduated from Macquarie University with a Bachelor of Social Sciences. She will soon complete her Practical Legal Training at the University of Technology Sydney. Since starting at the WRC, Hanna has undertaken literature reviews, qualitative research and survey administration for a range of projects. These projects include an analysis of skills utilisation for the OECD, an evaluation of pre-apprenticeships for the Victorian Government’s Department of Innovation, Industry and Regional Development and a project evaluating international responses to apprenticeship systems in light of the downturn for the COAG Apprenticeship Taskforce on behalf of the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR). Hanna’s research interests include corporate social responsibility, labour law, union organising and workforce development.
